February 19 :: Leviticus 25; Mark 1:23-45

In the Ryrie Study Bible, Moody explains that the gospel of Mark has a theme of Christ as being a Servant. The first half is his service as a the Servant. The second half is his sacrifice as the Servant.

As Mark writes in chapter 1, verses 21-45, we see Jesus being of service through His Power by overcoming demons, diseases, and leprosy.

Mark 1:40-41

A Man With Leprosy
A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees, "If you are willing, you can make me clean. Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!"
All the man did was ask Jesus to heal him knowing that He could if He so chose & we know what Jesus has said. What are you asking for healing from? What is your "leprosy" in the form of recently?
I didn't know what leprosy looked like, so I looked it up - here's an example in case you didn't know...what do you think initially? Do we react naturally with compassion?
