1) Records the spread of Christianity from the coming of the Spirit at Pentecost to Paul's preaching the gospel in Rome, the world's capital - in essence, a continuation of Jesus' work while on earth and done through Him as the risen Head of the Church!
2) Practicing doctrine emphasized over the statement of doctrine.
3) Basic understanding given of missionary work.
4) Patterns for church life revealed.
